As you may have heard, one of our members of the film community tragically lost his wife on Wednesday in a car accident on the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge in Wilmington.
Raymond Shepard, an incredible actor and wonderful father of three beautiful boys, is having the funeral for Myia on Monday. As you know, funerals are not cheap. I understand it is hard for everyone this time of year and with the economy going down the drain, but if anyone can pitch in, whatever the amount, there is a trust fund in Raymond Shepard's name at Suntrust Bank.
All this week, please give whether it's just one dollar or 100 dollars, whatever you can. The stress of finances on top of losing his wife and his children losing their mother especially during the holidays is a stress I know we can help alleviate.

Please include within your emailed submission: Names of all writers, email address, home address, phone numbers to contact you. Also, please make sure to include your confirmation code you will receive after payment is complete.
CONTEST RULES
- This contest is open to anyone except all employees, directors, associates, the immediate families of The WiFi Film Conference.
- Any genre is accepted.
- The script/entry must have title page containing: the title, author's name, email addresses, phone number and home address.
- Submissions must be: 10 pages, no more, no less (That does not include the title page!)
- Once material has been entered, no substitutions of new drafts or corrected pages will be considered. You may submit a revised draft of your script, short story, logline or synopsis as a new submission, fill in an entry form and pay the appropriate entry fee.
- Adaptations from other works are permissible provided you have the writer's written permission to adapt the work.
- Adaptations of works in the public domain are permissible.
- Collaborative work is eligible, but the writers are responsible for the distribution of the contest prize (s).
- Contest applicants must accept without reservation the decisions rendered by the jurors.
- The work or submitted material must not have been previously optioned, sold, or produced for profit.
- Writer understands that it is his/her sole responsibility to register Material with the U.S. Copyright Office and/or with the Writer’s Guild of America or the appropriate agency in his/her country.
- You have retained at least one copy of the submitted material, and you understand that all material we receive cannot and will not be returned under any circumstances.
- You may submit your screenplay to any other person, contest, producer, agent, publisher, and/or organization.
- Entering this contest will NOT limit your copyright. You retain all rights to your property.

PREMISE/CONCEPT, SCREENWRITING FORMAT/TYPOS, STORY STRUCTURE, PLOT, PACING, DIALOGUE, and CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT
